The practice acted as architect and developer for the restoration and conversion of a series of Grade II listed stone barns into five bespoke two and three bedroom houses.

The new conversions were finished to the highest quality for contemporary living in this stunning heritage setting.
The design stays faithful to the existing architecture, celebrating the exquisite craftsmanship presented in the huge stone walls, pierced with elegant openings with stone lintels. The slate roof was lovingly restored using heritage construction methods. Subtle landscaping in slate and green lawn settle the project into the context of the national park.

Located within the Snowdonia National Park on the Mawddach estuary it is an area with superb walking, great beaches, mountain biking and unique cycle ways for families, renowned bird watching (on the Mawddach) and some of the best sports fishing in the UK. The Aberdovey and Royal St. David’s links golf courses are within 20 minutes drive.
