Blue Mountain is a landscape recycling project in more ways than one. The site is an existing golf course that has fallen into disrepair with an abandoned 33-bay golf driving range. The golf course terrain will be reconfigured to recycle landfill into an upgraded 3-par course and adventure golf area. The existing driving range building is upgraded with part of this reconfigured and renovated for use as a clubhouse. The reuse and repair of the building fabric and introduction of minimal elements for total reuse make efficient work of resources for high impact. The landscaping includes introduction of new planting and wildlife habitats to enhance biodiversity and dramatically improve the locality.
