Windjammer is a new unique modern home in North Devon carefully crafted to a dramatic clifftop location, orientating spaces against the weather and optimising spectacular 180degree views.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty demanded the highest quality bespoke design to enhance and improve upon the unattractive existing bungalow that had very poor environmental performance.

The extensive and sensitive planning process led to consent in 2019 and the project is on site in a phased construction plan starting with a beautiful studio annex in timber cladding.

The material palette is a pale grey hand-made brick to work with the craggy cliffs, together with slivery weathered timber, slate roofs and glazing.
